The Robert J. Murney Clinic at Forest Institute is a teaching clinic committed to meeting the needs of the citizens of southwest Missouri that lack access to mental health services. This is accomplished through community partnerships, an income-based fee structure, individual, couples, family and group therapies, as well as psycho-educational courses.
As a not-for-profit training facility for behavioral health professionals, Murney Clinic is staffed by a variety of skilled providers. Clinical services are provided by supervised psychological trainees, marriage and family trainees, and interns, as well as licensed psychologists, marital and family therapists and professional counselors.

The Murney Clinic is pleased to say that friends and family members of satisfied former clients refer the vast majority of our new clients. In an effort to meet the continually changing needs of the community, we welcome feedback on how we can improve.
